I got a master's degree in fashion. During my studies at Royal College of Art, I was scouted to Dana Karan, after graduating, I went to New York and worked at her atelier for two years.

After five years in Tom Ford era Gucci, I gained experience as a senior designer for women's wear. What he chose as the next place to shine was Burberry, a homebrand, a historic brand representing Britain.

III. My Reaction

A. Reaction Point - Concept in fashion show
    バーバリープローサム(Burberry Prorsum)2016年春夏コレクション Gallery5
  • Concepts and themes
  • Function Regalia
  • A coined word that combines "FUNCTION" meaning "functional" with "REGALIA" which represents the throne and elegant clothes.Incorporate a beautiful pattern lace fabric that makes it reminiscent of the Queen 's costume such as English race, Swiss race, Italian lace, and pursued the style "functional and elegant clothes" in the collection.

B. Reaction Point - Main products
  • The charm that the company is most focused on.
  • Trench coat
  • We make 100 threads per 1 cm weaving together to make one. Dense twill fabric keeps breathability and prevents penetration of rain and water.

C. Reaction Point - Outer(Featured fashion of this time)
  • Jacket and outerwear to be worn in the upper body such as a blouson.
  • The Biker Jacket
  • A classic biker jacket that uses lambskin with natural leather texture and gold work code detail. Metal detail is influenced by motoring style of the 20th century.

D. My General Opinion
It was good that I could learn about familiar Burberry influenced by my family from a young age. I think that the image is totally different for each fashion show is interesting. This time it was a slightly different direction than usual, "The King" which was not familiar to me was a theme, but I felt particularly attractive to what is expressed with clothing and accessories like modern. Also, I was able to learn about the history and manufacturing process of the trench coat that Burberry company has as its main product, so I became more fond of this brand. The performance during the show was also very nice, so I definitely would like to see it on the scene.

The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer

I. About the Film:The Adventures of Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer lives with his Aunt Polly and his half-brother Sid. He skips school to swim and is made to whitewash the fence the next day as punishment. He cleverly persuades his friends to trade him small treasures for the privilege of doing his work. He then trades the treasures for Sunday School tickets which one normally receives for memorizing verses consistently, redeeming them for a Bible, much to the surprise and bewilderment of the superintendent who thought "it was simply preposterous that this boy had warehoused two thousand sheaves of Scriptural wisdom on his premises—a dozen would strain his capacity, without a doubt."
Tom falls in love with Becky Thatcher, a new girl in town, and persuades her to get "engaged" by kissing him. But their romance collapses when she learns Tom has been "engaged" previously to Amy Lawrence. Shortly after Becky shuns him, he accompanies Huckleberry Finn to the graveyard at night, where they witness a trio of body snatchers, Dr. Robinson, Muff Potter and Injun Joe, getting into a fight. While Potter is knocked unconscious during the scuffle, Injun Joe stabs the doctor to death and later pins the blame on Potter, who is arrested for the murder. Potter is then shunned by the whole town, except Huck and Tom, who knew the real story. They decided "to keep mum" about this incident because they are afraid of Injun Joe murdering them.
Tom and Huck run away to an island. While enjoying their new-found freedom, they become aware that the community is sounding the river for their bodies. Tom sneaks back home one night to observe the commotion. After a brief moment of remorse at his loved ones' suffering, he is struck by the idea of appearing at his own funeral. Back in school, Tom gets himself back in Becky's favor after he nobly accepts the blame for a book she has ripped. Soon, Muff Potter's trial begins, in which Tom testifies against Injun Joe. Potter is acquitted, but Injun Joe flees the courtroom through a window. Tom then fears for his life as Injun Joe is at large and can easily find him.
Summer arrives, and Tom and Huck go hunting for buried treasure in a haunted house. After venturing upstairs they hear a noise below. Peering through holes in the floor, they see Injun Joe disguised as a deaf-mute Spaniard; Injun Joe and his companion plan to bury some stolen treasure of their own. From their hiding spot, Tom and Huck wriggle with delight at the prospect of digging it up. Huck begins to shadow Injun Joe nightly, watching for an opportunity to nab the gold. In the meantime, Tom goes on a picnic to McDougal's Cave with Becky and their classmates. In his overconfidence, Tom strays off the marked paths with Becky and they get hopelessly lost. That night, Huck sees Injun Joe and his partner making off with a box. He follows and overhears their plans to attack the Widow Douglas. By running to fetch help, Huck prevents the crime and becomes an anonymous hero.
As Tom and Becky wander the extensive cave complex for the next few days, Becky gets extremely dehydrated and starved, so Tom's search for a way out gets even more determined. He accidentally encounters Injun Joe one day, but he is not seen by his nemesis. Eventually he finds a way out, and they are joyfully welcomed back by their community. As a preventive measure, Judge Thatcher has McDougal's Cave sealed off, but this traps Injun Joe inside. When Tom hears of the sealing several days later and directs a posse to the cave, they find Injun Joe's corpse just inside the sealed entrance, starved to death.
A week later, having deduced from Injun Joe's presence at McDougal's Cave that the villain must have hidden the stolen gold inside, Tom takes Huck to the cave and they find the box of gold, the proceeds of which are invested for them. The Widow Douglas adopts Huck, and when he attempts to escape civilized life, Tom tricks him into thinking that he can join Tom's robber band if he returns to the widow. Reluctantly, he agrees and goes back to her.

II. About the Writer:Mark Twain

画像検索結果Born in 1835 in the Clemens family of Florida, Missouri as the fifth of six brothers. The real name of Mark Twain is Samuel. My father was a judge. The Kremens family was an old house which immigrated to the United States in the mid 17th century, but it was bankrupt and unprofessional. When I was 4 years old, I moved to Honnibal, Mississippi town, Mississippi. This town and its inhabitants will be models of people and places to appear in the later "Adventures of Tom Sawyer", "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn". The Cremens family possessed slaves, Jenny 's maiden was the second mother, and slave children were playmates. Descriptions of Huckleberry Finn and Jim of Fugitive Slavery derive from such human relations.

IV. My Reaction

A. Reaction Point - Characters
  • Characters are persons, or animals or natural forces represented as persons, in a work of film or literature.
  • In Tom Sawyer's adventure, Tom is an important entity in advancing the story as an adventure fellow of Huckle · Berryfin, best friend.
  • The most horrible, naughty naughty guy in the village of St. Petersburg. An adventurous boy who is late for breakfast and does not listen to lessons, runs around Noyama after school and does not return until the evening. However, because it does not do bullying, colleagues at school are also popular, but Paulie's aunt is burning her hands. Tom's father was an accountant, but as Cid was born, he died of typhoid typhoid that spread immediately, and her mother died for a while, so she lives in a mother's aunt's Polly's house.

B. Reaction Point - Set Design
  • Set design is how the scenery looks and how it is built.
  • “ One uv 'em 's light en 'together one is dark. One is rich en 'together is po'. You 's gwyne to marry de po' one fust en de rich by-en by.” (p. 20) “ ‘ Well, there's five niggers run off tonight, up younger above the head of the bend. Is your man white or black? ”
  • In 1876 when "Tom Sawyer's Adventure" was published, the so-called rebuilding period came to an end, the former southern forces restored and "years again slavery started". After that, black discrimination and prejudice of white superiority gradually strengthened, and in the 1980s more than 50 black people will be lynching every year. Also, in 1883 the Supreme Court ruled that the civil rights law enacted in 1875 constitutes unconstitutional, and that conservative prejudice is written at the time that violence is legally justified .

C. Reaction Point - Difference from the original
  • Replacement to express the world that the author wishes to express easily
  • The scene where Tom at the beginning of the story is ordered to paint the wall from Polly's lady
  • In animation, I was ordered to paint wild pigs as a punishment driving with steam, but originally I was ordered as a punishment by going to swimming and going to swim school and even clothes.

D. My General Opinion

I have read it many times since I was young, but there were many things I wanted to know for the first time. I could write it happily. I was particularly surprised that the contents of racial discrimination, which is an artist's own experience, were included in the background of this story. I learned through this blog, I wanted to investigate more about racial discrimination and this era without ending here.

In desperation, Emil gets off the train one stop early and looks for the man he suspects. He sees him leaving the station and follows him. Kästner began his literary career as a journalist. He then produced light but ultimately serious poetry against the backdrop of the rise of Nazism in Germany of the interwar years. Kästner was opposed to Hitler and his inexorable rise to supreme power. Kästner’s 1931 novel, Fabian, charts the collapse of one man’s world at a time when the world of the Weimar Republic was collapsing. The novel was eventually publicly burned by the Nazis. Kästner himself was lucky to escape with only an interdiction on his publishing until after the war. His writings for children are characterized by a willingness to see children as thinking creatures. Indeed, he appeared to equate childlike qualities with basic humanity. He is quoted as saying: ‘Only the one who becomes a grown-up and keeps on being a child is a human being.’ For more information, see the Introduction.

III. Versions of the Novel in the Mass Media

Movie Version (Walt Disney)

「Emil and the Detectives」の画像検索結果
Since the first movie by Director Gerhardt Lamprecht in 1931, it has been converted into a movie nine times in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Brazil, and it has been frequently performed as a theater and musical. Among them, the Walt Disney version, which was produced in 1964, is an undisclosed Disney movie, so it is not circulating in the world and it is hard to obtain.

IV. My Reaction to Emil and the Detectives

A.Reaction Point- Character
The person or things that are the focus of the plot
Gustav
Gustaf is a celebrity of Wilmersdorf. It is famous like a monster in town to raise friends by ringing a horn carried by Gustav. He is a leader of everyone, Gustaf 's desire is also among children.
B.Reaction Point- Protagonist
Main character
Ahmile Tishvin
It is a character like Author Kestner's boyhood as it is. The family environment of Emir depicts Kestner himself, such as the mother being a hairdresser, the fact that his father was lucky, and being poor. The name of Emir is the same as the real father.

C.Reaction Point- Theme

The central message or moral of a story
Without the power of adults, children solve incidents with their own power.
They teach me how to regret when I hit the wall, the importance of friendship, the pleasure to pay attention.

D.My General Opinion

I was touched by the efforts of the children to work hard as the author wished to say most. It was my first time to read English novels and to investigate its purpose and authors in detail, so it took time and had some difficulties, but it became a good experience to know more about this novel. The movie version is a little different from the novel setting, so I thought that I would definitely appreciate it and compare it.

My Featured Song

Song of Life by Libera

There's a whisper in the dark
As a new life comes to be.
Then a song begins to form
As it finds the harmony
With a chorus of sound
Of the world all around.
Now it blends in the tune
Joining the endless of song of life.

We shall never be alone
As we link our hearts in one.
Joining voices from above,
All in the miracle of life,
Through the ages we will grow
Only time will ever know,
As our voices magnify,
All in the miracle of life.

Love plays along in our lives yet to come
As we join in the song of life.

Now the music starts to build
As the words begin to rhyme.
Then another lends a tune
As their voices now combine
With the chorus of sound
Of the world all around.
Now they blend their tune
Sharing the endless song of life.

We shall never be alone
As we link our hearts in one.
Joining voices from above,
All in the miracle of life,
Through the ages we will grow
Only time will ever know,
As our voices magnify,
All in the miracle of life.

I. About the Song

A representative song of a boys choir who founded and presided in 1998 by British composer Robert Prizmann, Libera, who is based in South London. It is used as the theme song of NHK drama 10 "Madonna Verde". Most of the members are made up of South London resident residents. The members are men from 7 to 18 years old, and although the exact number and details have not been announced, they are talking about 40 people are in the speech by members during the concert. Unlike the Vienna boys' choir and so on, there are many members who continue to work after the change since there is a bass part. Also, there are former members who are acting as voice trainers and concert staff.
Livera has been renamed twice to its present name. The predecessor of Rivera is St. Philips Boy's Choir, which was established in 1984. In 1990 it was renamed Angel Voices. The unique pure white lobe introduced in this era is the symbol of Livera. Up to this point I have been acting as a choir, but in 1998 I switched to a policy to make a unique sound based on a chant. In accordance with that, we renamed the name to the current Livera. Livera is a Latin word meaning "freedom".

IV. My Reaction

A. Reaction Point - Theme
  • The central idea of a song's lyrics.
  • The original is Kaidou Takeru's novel "Madonna Verde" and "Jean Waltz". A problematic work with a heavy theme called "surrogate birth", a 55 - year - old mother has become a story to give birth to her daughter 's children. It is colored to encourage and encourage the story of that tense life.
  • The theme for people who saw the drama to feel "salvation".

B. Reaction Point - Point of view
  • The perspective from which a story is told in a song's lyrics.
  • Everyone is not alone if we connect our hearts together.
  • What the composer wants most to tell.

C. Reaction Point - Lead vocal
  • The main singer in a song recording.
  • Ralph Skan
  • Ralph was first credited on Angel Voices in 2006 and made his public debut at the Queen Elizabeth Hall concert on May 11, 2008. Ralph received his first solo on Peace, singing The Fountain. When he's not singing, Ralph loves watching TV and playing football  with his dad!

D. My General Opinion

Livera is one of my favorite artists, among other things, this song of life is a favorite song. Thanks to this opportunity, I was glad that I could learn more about the theme and composer of lyrics this time. There are many other good songs so I would like people to listen to this blog by all means.
